Body dysmorphia

This occurs when a person experiences their body as not being synonymous with them self.

In some way the body is felt to be out of sync or not really mine.
In the extreme there person will feel that they are not right or complete unless they have their arm or leg amputated.



Once it is amputated then they feel right. Just like a gay or lesbian person feels right once they have stopped living the lie and comes out.

As you can imagine this creates somewhat of a dilemma for the medical profession
